Well I'll tell you.
I've started writing my journal of the walk. It's going to be a marathon in many ways. Only on Day 8 I think and I have written over 8000 words. I did most of that down in Brighton over the new year and had a go this afternoon but it is going to be a real effort. I mean the memories are all nice but there's so many of them it's getting them all down and trying to be brief isn't that easy. BUt I must get it out before it becomes a blur.
I got a great certificate from the South West Coast Path association to signify my completion of the walk. There is an AGM you can go to get it presented officially but I'm not sure about that. They were also kind enough to send a rreplacement guide book as my original copy got rather weatherbeaten as you can see on the blog.
Below I have uploaded all the photos that were on my phone and in the next day or so I will put up some that I took when I went back to Salcombe recently from Chrimbo. Got back out to Start Point, Prawle Point and BUrgh Island and got some good shots out there so I'm pleased and not so gutted about the camera now.
I was contacted by a journalist from the Financial Times about helping out with an article he was writing about the walk. Hopefully that will come off.
I miss the walk still. I will do it again one day clockwise this time from Studland Bay to Minehead and I have decided to do the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain in 2009.
Keep 'em peeled like oranges
