Thanks for visiting my blog.

Later in the year I intend to walk the South West Coast Path. This is a track in England and covers 630 miles of English coastline from Minehead in Somerset, through North Devon, around the Cornish coast, back through South Devon and finally along part of the Dorset coast to Poole Harbour. I have been to Devon on holiday a number of times and always gone on part of the path on these breaks. But last year I decided to have a go a doing the whole walk; for personal achievement, fitness and to see the cornish coast, somewhere I have never been.

I am also using it as an opportunity to raise money for the following charities: NSPCC, Rethink and The British Heart Foundation. Please have a look at their sites for more information about them.

A provisional start date is the 1 September and I will be walking anti clockwise from Minehead to Poole. The hope is to complete the walk in one go but circumstances may change which could make this impossible. In this case the walk will be completed in stages.
