I am planning an event to help publicise the walk and raise awareness for the three charities I have decided to raise money for.
It is going to be held at the Anchor Pub in Godalming, which is where I am staying at the moment. The provisional date is the 4th August. All are welcome to attend. There will be live acts and some deejaying and maybe some food but I haven't decided about that yet. The music will run from eight o'clock til twelve. The pub is open til one for drinking.
Should be fun.

Hello, my name is David Woolford. In September 2007 I walked the South West Coast Path in the UK. It is 630 miles long and runs from Minehead in Somerset around the South West peninsula to Poole in Dorset. I was raising as much money as possible on this walk for three charities. The British Heart Foundation, the NSPCC and Rethink. In the end I raised around £850. I have memorries of the region which will live with me forever. I hope to do it again one day.

- I am 38 years old. In recovery from a nervous breakdown and diagnosis of clinical depression. I have suffered from delusional and paranoid thoughts as well, which make normal life extremely difficult. This is the main reason why I have decided to do this walk as an aid to my recovery. However I would like to raise as much money as possible for the charities I have nominated as well.
