gig updates

Well it's over a month since I last posted and no mistake. Not sure why and this isn't going to turn into a blogger meander so. I have confirmed three acts for the promotional gig at the Anchor Pub. This is happening on the 4 August at said pub which on the Ockford Road heading towards Milford.

First up there is Solarspy. Five piece rock band one member of which is the son of my gp so there you go. I play tennis with another member's dad. Check out there myspace page to hear what s what.

Secondly, Teleute. An old friend from my days in Brighton. Electronics whether laptopped or via vinyl we shall have to see but it provides some good variety.

Jonny Wills is the third addition. A singer/songwriter of the classic tradition, I used to play keyboards in one of his bands. But here he should be in full solo effect. Maybe his alter-ego DJ Suave will be manning the ones and twos for a little session.

Plus we have deejays from far and wide including thr solid gold mobile discotheque, kbps fm and burnt clay. All local bods playing a mixture of pop classics, reggae, soul, funk, hip-hop and electronic beat.

As detailed below the music runs til 12 and there are drinks til 1 a.m. Remember smoking must be done outside. All locals of the Anchor are welcome as this is an open house event. Come on down.
