views from the south west coast path

Hello

I've just got back from Salcombe. A great week and some unseasonal hot sun which seems a million miles away from the the floods around the country. Sending all good luck and best wishes to everyone affected.

I did one walk of note in the week from Salcombe to Bigbury-on-Sea and Burgh Island which is 13 miles. I took about 4 and a half hours which is a good gauge of what I can expect generally on the walk. A couple of tough climbs and I also had to ford the river at Bantham because the ferry had yet to start running. So I know that I can do that. All good research and knowledge for later.

Here are some photos along the route.

best for now

David
